General Booking

No. Bookings are strictly non-refundable. Please check the car booking information carefully before check out. Car rental purchases are final and are not refundable. Duplicated transactions are also not refundable because duplicated transactions block other customers from renting a specific car. There will be no refund for any unused or partly used services. However, you can contact us and request to change the date and time or extend the lease period (subject to car availability).

Check that your driver’s licence is valid and check whether your nationality requires an international license to be able to drive in your desired destination. An international license is preferred for non-Malaysian citizens wishing to drive in Malaysia. If we find that the driver does not have a valid driver’s license, we reserve the right to refuse to give the car to you. We also reserve the right not to refund the booking deposit you had paid to us because your booking transactions block other customers from renting a specific car from us.

All rental cars listed on our website are owned by Zingo. Unlike many local car rental companies, they do not own the rental cars but they are third-party agents. Therefore, many of their vehicles are not under their control, so they might not be able to provide you with the best service and user experience. If your rental car, unfortunately, has problems, they may not be able to provide you with timely assistance. What’s worse is that in some past cases, third-party agents will shift this responsibility to the owner, and your travel journey will be spoiled by then.

You can contact us for the actual picture of their car. We carry many different car models and as we continually upgrade our fleets, the actual rental car may be similar but not identical to the one pictured. The seating and luggage capacity for each car should be used as a guide only.

Car Pick-up / Return

We will contact you with details of how to collect your car within 24 hours of booking confirmation, so please ensure your contact details (phone and email) are correct before placing an order. You will also find the order summary email. Usually, we will deliver it to you at your specified location, such as hotel, airport, and bus terminal.

No, insurance is not included. However, we offer Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) to reduce the customer’s excess liability. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully. Notwithstanding this, it’s advisable to purchase travel insurance. Zingo shall not be responsible for any loss or damage as a result of the trip cancellation, personal baggage loss, personal accident, injury or illness.

You are required to inform us immediately on the spot and follow our instructions. Then, you make police report within 24 hours from the time of an accident or from the time you’ve found out the theft or loss and get police report in writing.


On the checkout page, you will see the available payment options. We support SenangPay, an Online Payment Gateway that accepts all kinds of credit and debit cards in the type of Visa and MasterCard both locally and internationally. You can also make payment via a secure Internet Banking (FPX) transaction through your local bank account in Malaysia.

Yes. The payment gateway integrated on our website, SenangPay, has been registered with Bank Negara Malaysia and Senangpay uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) for each transaction. In addition, SenangPay does not store sensitive data such as credit/debit card information. Every transaction will require 6 digits 3D-secure code which will be sent to mobile phone for confirmation. SenangPay also have an internal “Fraud Detection” team. Kindly proceed to SenangPay and Bank Negara Malaysia website for verification.

The currency of payment is in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). For international customers, please check with your bank about the exchange rate of your debit/credit card.

No. We know you do not like to pay for additional transaction fees, so we promise you that will be NO TRANSACTION FEES if you make payment at our website. Yes. We only charge you 15% of the total amount as the Booking Fee for your car rental booking confirmation, and then you only need to pay the Remaining Balance upon the pick-up of the car.

You will receive an Order Summary in your email that shows your booking confirmation. If you do not receive your Order Summary email more than 15 minutes after booking, please email

Security Deposit

We will need to hang on to a deposit while you have our car. We do this to make sure we don’t lose money if there are any problems during your rental. For example, if you return the car late, damaged or very dirty, we will hold on to some or all of your deposit.
The security deposit amount can be anything from RM300 to RM1,000 in some cases even more. The amount depends on the type of car.

At present, we only accept cash payments.

Yes, the security deposit will be refunded in full within 3 working days after you return the rental car; provided there is no damage to the rental car.

It usually takes 3 working days to get your deposit back after you return the rental car. It can take longer during public holidays.



Yes, the mileage is unlimited for daily rental. For business leasing, please contact us for different packages.
This only applies to business leasing, vehicles; please check the Terms and Conditions in the Leasing Agreement. Usually, you will have to pay back the extra mileage that you have used.
